Materials:
- 5 sheets good quality poster paper or watercolour paper ( DIN A2 )
- 1 liter very strong tea cooled to room temperature in large flat bowl.
- clear drying craft glue, sticky tape
- 1 x DIN A4 sheets scrap paper, pencil, scissors, metal spoon, towel, thick pencil or brush, elastic band.

Method:
1.
Download the template, print the pattern. Cut out the core pattern. Copy the petal pattern onto a folded A4 cut
out the full size petal pattern.

Grab the petals and the core at the base and dip
them into the tea. Allow the petals to
dry.

4.
Make the center core of the rose by wrapping the
core around the widest part of the brush handle. Secure it at the base with
craft glue and sticky tape. Remove the
bush. Ensure that the base remains open
as you work. You will be able to insert
a sick to form the stem of the rose.

5.
Select three petals. Cut the base off and cut incisions about 2 cm
- 2.5 cm deep into the base of the petals.
Set aside for step 10.

6.
Fold the
towel to form four layers and place a petal on top. Use the spoon to soften the paper by applying
pressure and sliding the back of the spoon from the center towards the edge of
the petal. Repeat several times to cover
the whole petal. The edges of the petal
should start to curve up. Use your
fingers and scrunch a 1cm rim around each petal. Repeat for the remaining petals.

7.
Select half of the petals to form the inner
petals of the rose. Form a cone with
each of these petals and release the cone. Set aside for step 9.

8.
Use the
brush handle and curl the remaining petal edges around the handle to add more
dimension and structure to form the outer petals. Set aside for step 9.

10. Finish the rose off with the three petals
prepared in step 5. Use the clear drying
craft glue to stick them around the outside of the rose. Secure the petals with an elastic band at the
base until the glue has dried.
