BushcraftZ 2014 - Crochet a chain long enough to fit around the neck of the
bottle and close to form a ring.
BushcraftZ 2014 - Crochet first round based on the size of the ring.
- Crochet subsequent rounds. Increase the rounds and adjust the
work according to the shape. Place the work over the bottle
periodically to ensure it still fits.
BushcraftZ 2014 - Change colour to create a pattern.
BushcraftZ 2014
BushcraftZ 2014 - Once the bottle cover is completed place it over the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down and crochet or sew the base onto the bottle cover to encase the bottle.
- Optional: For a felted effect place the encased bottle in very warm water. Add a little soap onto the wool and use the brush to felt the wool. This may take some time and patience. Once the felted effect has been achieved rinse the soap and allow to dry.
- Use this transformed bottle as unique vase or decor item.
