DIY: Succulent Advent wreath

Materials:

• wreath shaped container with oasis or filled with potting soil (Available from florists)
• 4 tea light candles
• 4 glasses
• succulent plant cuttings

Method:

1. Soak the oasis in water or fill the wreath container with potting soil.
2. Place the four glasses evenly spaced on the wreath and mark their position. Remove the glasses.
3. Arrange the succulent plants and cuttings to cover the wreath keeping the spaces for the glasses open.

4. Place the glasses back into position and place a tea light candle into each glass.

Light the first candle on the first Advent Sunday. Continue to light one more candle each Sunday counting down the four Sundays preceding Christmas.

TIP: Remember keep the oasis or soil moist. Plant the cuttings in the garden or in pots after Christmas
