Felt cover for 3D glasses

BushcraftZ 2014
Watching 3D movies on the big screen is fun, however buying new 3D glasses for every show is wasteful. These simple felt covers protect your glasses from scratches, ready for the next 3D movie.

Materials:

  • 20 cm x 18 cm felt square
  • Felt remnants
  • 20 cm x 18 cm iron on Vilene
  • Embroidery cotton, embellishments and general sewing equipment.
  • Template

Method:
  1. Iron the Vilene onto the felt square.
  2. Fold the felt square in half and round the corners.
  3. Use the template to cut out the glasses from felt. Position them onto the felt. Sew into place with embroidery cotton using a simple running stitch. Embellish the glasses.

  4. Fold the decorated felt in half and sew the sides together with blanket stitching. Leave an opening large enough to slide the glasses into the cover.
